Interpreting on-site in İstanbul The fee for interpreting assignments involving travel to any location in İstanbul is 1 euro per three minutes plus a fixed call out charge of 20 euros. The call out charge covers all travelling expenses to any part of the İstanbul. Interpretations for documents like power of attorney, letter of consent&undertaking will be conducted at the offices of
2nd Notary Public and 5th Notary Public of Beşiktaş/İstanbul /Turkey because I am a licensed sworn translator of said notaries.
Interpreting on-site elsewhere The fee for interpreting assigments that involve travel outside İstanbul is negotiable.
Telephone interpreting The fee for telephone interpreting (or for similar work that does not involve travel) is 1 euro per three minutes.
There is a minimum 7 EUR fee for short texts.
For a reasonable fee, I also provide translations that are notarized and legalized for countries that respect the Hague Convention.
Freelance translators (no translation offices) are exempt from tax like composers, artists and inventors in Turkey, however VAT Pursuant to T.R. Regulations is at the rate of 18% when translation offices invoice clients.
